Kristina Hamilton joined the NewsChannel 7 team in April of 2008. She comes to WJHG from the NBC affiliate, NewsChannel 5, in West Palm Beach. Kristina got her start in the news business while finishing up her last semester of college. She worked as NewsChannel 5’s website anchor and producer for about a year before coming to Panama City Beach. She was born and raised in West Palm Beach and while she misses home she’s thrilled to be in a new place. Kristina says her high school, college and first job were all within a mile of each other so she is welcoming the new surroundings and faces. When the fickle ocean permits you can find Kristina out surfing the gulf. The sport even takes her yearly to Costa Rica for those ideal waves. Kristina’s the weekend anchor here at NewsChannel 7.
