Drew Steele joined the WJHG News Team in November as the Walton County Bureau Reporter.

He is originally from the state of Kentucky where he went to school at Western Kentucky University (Go Hilltoppers).

After graduating college in 2011, he had his first taste of news while working in Montana as a reporter and 10pm anchor. Being out west was definitely an experience he will never forget especially the snow.

After working in Big Sky Country for a year, it was time to move on to something new and exciting.... and warmer.

He's an avid soccer and tennis player and loves to do just about everything outdoors. Being new to the coast, he is already tempted to try his hand at long boarding, skim boarding and camping on the beach.

Jumping in head first, Drew is already scouring Walton County for the stories that matter. He is a passionate and caring journalist motivated by the story of people's lives and wants to know what your passion is?
