Meredith TerHaar is thrilled to be apart of the team at News Channel 7. She co-anchors the 5pm with Joe Moore and reports for the 10pm news.
She joins the team after spending 6 years at WZZM TV 13 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. She began as a producer, then added the roles of feature reporter, general assignment reporter and fill-in anchor. She showcased West Michigan's most exciting activities in her franchise "Weekend Adventure." From a hot air balloon fall color tour to dog sledding in the snow, the stories also showcased the area's natural beauty.
She won an AP award for Best Newscast in 2004 and is a member of the Lambda Pi Eta Communications Honor Society. She graduated from Hope College in Holland, Michigan. While in college she interned at WLS-TV in Chicago and WOOD-TV 8 in Grand Rapids.
Meredith is excited to become an active member of the Panama City community. She's found the people to be warm and welcoming. She grew up in Southern California, so the beach has always been an important part of her life. Here in the Sunshine state she and her husband Eric are excited to spend lots of time running, reading and soaking up the sun on the shores of Panama City Beach.
