I was born in Parma, Ohio but I have lived in the Panama City area since 1965. I currently live in Lynn Haven with my wife Nancy and my son Nikko.
I went to school in Bay County, starting at Beach Elementary School and then on to Jenks Jr. High and graduating from Bay High School in 1975. I received my Art Degree from the Ringling School of Art in Sarasota, Florida.
I was originally hired as the Art Director at NewsChannel 7 in 1979, a capacity that I still fulfill. I have recently been given the assignment of "Community Correspondent," a position that I not only enjoy immensely, but one that I take seriously as well. I enjoy practicing and teaching the martial arts, a passion that I have pursued for over 25 years. I get a lot of satisfaction seeing the positive changes that martial arts training can have on people, especially children. I am currently a 6th Degree Black Belt in Okinawan Karate. I also enjoy surfing and playing with my son.
