Ted Williams joined the WJHG Sports team in July 2012 as the Weekend Sports Anchor.

Ted Williams joined the WJHG Sports team in July 2012 as the Weekend Sports Anchor. Born and raised in Atlanta, he decided to leave the peaches for the beaches and make his way down to the Panhandle.

Being the youngest of five, Ted knew at a young age he would have to know sports in order to carry on a conversation with his brothers, 12 years his senior.

He graduated from the University of Alabama in 2010 with a degree in Telecommunications. From there he spent a year working at ESPNU in Charlotte, North Carolina before he became a news producer in Albany, Georgia.

Sports are without a doubt his biggest passion though food comes in a close second.

When he is not at the station, you could probably find him on a golf course somewhere getting whipped by Old Man Par.
