Scott has been with WJHG since August of 1987. He has been Sports Director here since Fall of 1989. After a short stint in Jacksonville as a sports producer and photographer (at what was then the NBC affiliate there, WJKS) he came to Panama City. He got a job a short time after graduating with a Broadcast Telecommunications Degree from the University of Florida in 1986.
Scott spent his high school years at Monsignor Pace High School in Opa-Locka, Florida. In his prep days he played football, baseball and tennis. Nowadays, his favorite participation sport is golf. Scott was born and raised in Miami, Florida. He is one of five sons brought into this world by Bob and Margaret Rossman.
Scott's father spent his entire career in Law Enforcement. His parents have since retired and are living on the East Coast near Melbourne. Scott and his wife Lisa were married in 1989...she too is from Miami. They live in a house they built in 1996 on Panama City Beach. They do not have any children, but do have a chocolate lab that is treated like one!
