Travis joined NewsChannel 7 as the weekend weather anchor in September 2007. He also fulfills duties as a weekday reporter. Travis hails from “Hog Heaven” in Fayetteville, Arkansas, where he graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcast Journalism and a Minor in Business Administration. Right down the road in his hometown of Russellville is where his passion for the weather all began. Prior to graduating from the U of A, Travis interned under Chief Meteorologist Dan Skoff at the NBC affiliate KNWA in Fayetteville. Travis is currently studying Broadcast Meteorology through Mississippi State University. In his free time, Travis enjoys working out or running, spending time with family and friends, or just relaxing on the couch watching TV. If you see him out and about and want to know what the forecast looks like…ask him. He’ll be more than happy to tell you...that’s why he’s here.
