One dead after apparent drowning incident

Police say 21 year-old Tony Jackson was swimming in the Gulf around 2:30 Sunday afternoon when he was caught by a large wave and carried off.


A couple is facing charges after Bay County Sheriff's officials said the two allegedly stole a 92-year-old woman's debit card and took more than $8,500 out of her account before family members noticed the unusual charges.
