Friday Forecast

Good Friday morning everyone and TGIF!

It's a quiet start on VIPIR 7 Doppler radar with more clouds and fog to start off the day. The fog will be patchy and dense in spots during the morning drive. It'll lift out through the 8 or 9am hour and the low level clouds will thin out by the late morning. There will be a small chance for a stray very light shower during the mid morning before the clouds decrease.

We'll open up our skies to beautiful mainly sunny conditions this afternoon and that will generate some heat! Temperatures are mild and muggy again in the low 60s to start. Dew points are very high for this time of year in the sticky 60s. You'll really notice the humidity heading into this afternoon where temperatures will soar well above average. Highs will push the mid to upper 70s on the coast to low 80s possible across the Wiregrass!

We'll keep this mild spring-like trend going right through the upcoming weekend as well. Overnight, fog and clouds develop once again into Saturday morning where we could see a light mist or stray sprinkle. Clouds will generally decrease through the midday to some afternoon sunshine. And you guessed it! Sunday will look almost like a carbon copy of what we've had, but there may be a few more clouds cruising our skies still in the afternoon. Weekend highs will be just as warm as today, mid 70s on the coast to low 80s inland!

Bottom Line...
For today, clouds and fog from the early morning give way to mainly sunny skies in the afternoon. There's only a slight chance of a small stray light sprinkle today through tomorrow in the morning's and overnight. Your VIPIR 7Day Forecast will keep this spring like pattern going through the weekend and into next week.
