PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Shopping for Christmas can be either stressful or enjoyable, depending on who you're buying for.
If you're buying for yourself, like 30 lucky kids from Southport and Lynn Haven elementary schools did Monday, then it's probably enjoyable.
Thanks to the Fyfe Family Foundation, these underprivileged kids got to go on a shopping spree. Volunteers were even on hand to be the kids' personal shoppers as they searched for clothes and personal hygiene items.
"I'm just here to help her shop. She knows her sizes and we're looking for school-appropriate clothing and a little something else for her Christmas," Tiffany Denainger, a volunteer shopper said. "But no, it's fun to see them find things they like."
In addition to the necessities, each kid got to pick out a new toy.
