BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - In an effort to combat the flu epidemic, Gulf Coast Regional Medical Care is offering two flu clinics in Bay County.
One clinic is located in Panama City and the other in Panama City Beach. Hospital officials say both of these locations will take patients with flu like symptoms, and they will receive immediate flu testing and results. We're told medication will also be provided if necessary.
Gulf Coast Regional Medical Care in Panama City (located at 4121 W. Highway 98) next to Schlotzsky's is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays.
The clinic in Panama City Beach (located at 16181 Panama City Beach Parkway) across from Frank Brown Park is open from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekends.
Officials say if you're experiencing an emergency, the hospital's emergency department is always open. For the average ER wait time, please text "ER" to 32222. Standard text messaging rates apply.
