Monday Forecast

Good Monday morning everyone!

There's a little bit of activity this morning on VIPIR7 Doppler Radar with a few scattered showers possible this morning. Otherwise, you may see a little patchy fog, haze, or mist to get your day started.

It's a warm and damp start to the morning drive today. Temperatures are floating around the upper 60s to near 70 degrees to start the day! They won't fluctuate all that much however as southerly winds continue to pump moisture up into a stalled out front draped across the Northern Gulf Coast.

That'll create some cloud cover over us for a majority of the day, but our best shot at seeing any rain will most likely be in the morning for a light scattered shower or sprinkle. The afternoon should be a bit drier with a few peeks of sunshine possible.

We'll stay unsettled through the next couple days with more clouds than sun. But little in terms of good rain chances, a few scattered showers will be possible tomorrow, and wave of passing showers with some rumbles of thunder will pass through on a breezy Wednesday as this first system of the week passes east.

Another one will set up for the upcoming weekend stringing out rain chances right now from late Friday through Sunday. This next system for the weekend will come with a big pattern change to bring in some colder conditions in time for Christmas. Highs by Sunday may struggle to get out of the 50s.

Bottom Line...
For today, mainly cloudy with a few morning showers. Otherwise, wet and muggy with highs near 75. Your VIPIR 7 Day Forecast will keep us very mild this week with highs staying in the mid 70s through the whole work week.
