Good Monday morning everyone!
It's an active morning in the Southeast as a band of showers is rolling through. We'll watch this band push through mainly during the morning, the afternoon should be quieter. So grab the umbrellas for the morning and midday.
Temperatures out the door are still very mild today. And our dew points are still on the muggy side in the 60s as well. But once this front passes through we'll see our winds shift to the north by the day's end and a little less humid air will filter south.
It won't last long however as we'll be back into a southerly flow by midweek. Another frontal system will be working through Wednesday into Thursday. The warm front will pass north bringing back some warmth and humidity to the midweek followed by another cold front moving through on Thursday. That one will bring a wonderful seasonal taste of air back to the end of the week after a few showers on Thursday.
For today, mostly cloudy skies with showers in the morning, thinning out in the afternoon. Highs today will be in the mid 70s. Your VIPIR 7 Day forecast will feature a week with a little more comfort with temps largely staying in the 70s.
