By Thursday evening, more than 2,000 employees had taken the survey.

Fifty-seven percent of them are in favor of laws allowing certain teachers who volunteer and have the training to carry guns.

Forty percent of them are interested in completing that training personally.

Almost half of the people who completed the survey ranked "additional mental health resources for students" as their priority right now.

The next highest priority was armed officers and additional security systems and camera upgrades.
