The Kilted Man plays at the Panama City Beach library

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - The third show in the concert series at the Panama City Beach library brought a performer with many talents Thursday.

He's a musician, a comedian, a story teller and all while wearing a kilt. Matthew Gurnsey, also known as the Kilted Man, will be touring the Northwest Regional Library System to perform concerts of traditional Irish and Scottish music.

The family friendly performances are free and open to the public. His wit and finesse charms his audiences, telling tales and playing various traditional Celtic instruments including the concertina, bodhrán, mandolin, penny whistle, and bowed saltery.

"I don't know, I came in for a book today at the library and they asked me to play some music and one thing led to another. We had a show and a big audience and it was a grand time," Gurnsey said.
