Good Thursday morning everyone!
It's a quiet start on VIPIR7 Doppler Radar this morning, but the fog has returned! And it will be thick through the morning commute so be sure to give yourself some extra time out the door today for anticipated slower travels.
Temps are feeling cooler near 60 on the coast and upper 50s inland with a bit of a damp feel as well. So you may want a light jacket to start the day. We will get to see some sunshine return to the forecast today. And that will help make for a nice afternoon with highs today moving into the low 70s.
We'll be in between systems for the rest of the work week and early weekend. Our next frontal boundary will start stirring up more clouds overhead through Friday and Saturday but we should be on the drier side with respect to rain chances until Sunday. But this front will clear out in time for Santa's arrival on Christmas Eve and Jolly Old St.Nick will bring a blast of cold air with him for Christmas day. Temperatures will likely be falling or steadily in the 60s on Christmas Eve, with highs only in the 50s on Christmas.
For today, morning fog and clouds will disperse to mainly sunny skies in the afternoon. Highs today will reach the low 70s. Your VIPIR7 Day Forecast will keep us in the 70s heading into the weekend, with the cool down coming through Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
