Good Thursday morning everyone!
It's a quiet start on VIPIR 7 Doppler Radar but just like mornings prior, we have low level clouds and developing fog. The fog may be a bit more widespread this morning than compared to yesterday. And it may take a bit longer to lift out.
For some along the coast today, the marine layer may linger on into the afternoon. But I think most north of the bays will see the clouds begin to break up and disperse allowing for a mix of sun and clouds.
Otherwise, temps are mild and muggy with most near 60° to start the Morning Commute. With a bit more sunshine this afternoon, folks north of the bays will reach temperatures in the upper 70s to near 80 this afternoon. While the coast will still be seasonally mild, with a bit more cloud cover expected, that may hold back those afternoon temps to the low 70s.
No major systems are on the way to break us out of this mild and muggy weather pattern either. A weak frontal boundary will head our way Friday night into Saturday and may stir up a stray shot at a shower through that time frame. But it will not bring any cooler or more drier conditions. Dew points will remain muggy on into the weekend, and our spring-like temps will continue as well with highs reaching the mid to upper 70s.
For today, mostly cloudy skies in the morning giving way to some sun mixed with the clouds in the afternoon. Highs today will reach the low 70s on the coast and upper 70s near 80 inland. Your VIPIR 7 Day forecast will keep this spring-like mild and mugginess pattern with a mix of sun and clouds around heading into the upcoming weekend.
