Good Thursday morning everyone!
It's a relatively quiet start again for us in NWFL on VIPIR 7 Doppler Radar. But we do have clouds cruising overhead, and we can't rule out another bout of some light stray sprinkles this morning. Just like yesterday, however, they'll be hardly umbrella worthy this morning.
Temperatures are very mild and humid this morning as we're waking up around 70°! Highs will reach the upper 70s to even low 80s inland. Changes are on the way...a cold front is heading down into the southeast today.
We'll only carry a chance for seeing a late day stray shower, but the front and better rain chance will not arrive until after sunset and into this evening.
Southerly winds will really ramp up into the afternoon. A steady 15-20mph breeze will be likely today from the south, pumping up the warmth and humidity. But once the cold front passes through this evening and overnight tonight, we'll zap out the humidity and get a nice refreshing blast of seasonal air for tomorrow and the weekend ahead.
For today, mostly cloudy skies with some sunshine mixed in and breezy southerly winds. Highs today will reach the upper 70s on the coast and in the low 80s inland. Your VIPIR 7 Day Forecast will show the wonderful stretch of seasonal highs near 70 degrees lasting through the weekend with beautiful sunshine.
