Tracking A Disturbance Moving Toward The Gulf

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A disturbance over the southwestern Caribbean Sea has a 70% chance of development over the next 5 days as it is forecast to move northward toward the Gulf of Mexico as we move toward the weekend. Hurricane Hunters are expected to visit the system on Wednesday afternoon. It is much too early to say where or how strong the system will be, but some sort of tropical system appears likely in the gulf this weekend. This is a recap of our tropical chat on Facebook this evening.
