Water to shut off temporarily for part of Panama City

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Water will be shut off to part of Panama City Friday due to Highway 390 construction.

According to a Panama City's Public Information Officer, the water will be turned off from 3 p.m. until 5 p.m. Friday in the area of Token Road and 34th Place between Baldwin Road and Highway 390.

A precautionary boil water notice will be issued for the area Friday. Residents in the area may experience discolored water for about 24 hours after the water has been restored.

The precautionary boil water notice will remain in effect until the water tests show the water is safe to drink.
