GAINESVILLE, FL (WJHG/WECP) The University of Florida's indoor practice facility is where coach Greg Jordan and his Blountstown Tigers spent part of Wednesday, on their way down to Orlando for Thursday's 1A State
Championship.

The Tigers leaving the high school Wednesday after a nice sendoff, a pep rally in the gym in the morning. They got on the bus, stopped for lunch in Lake City, and then arrived in Gainesville around 2:30 central.

One of the Blountstown assistant coaches knows a member of the staff here at Florida and letting the Tigers use this field for a relatively light workout

We caught up with coach Jordan just before the team's workout at the Gators IPF and he told us this would be a quick practice and light workout, with the idea to get the guys legs stretched and going, and work a little more on the game plan.

"A normal Thursday for us is a three o'clock run-through," coach Jordan said "where we run through our special teams, and just do a few team things. But this is as much of a normal day we can have traveling, being on the road. It does give them a break, being on the bus. But this is our normal routine, this would be our normal Thursday."

Blountstown only getting in about an hour practice and then they hit the road to Orlando. There it was checking in at the team hotel, a team dinner, and then some team meetings.

The room checks were set for ten o'clock because coach Jordan said he wanted his guys well rested. And really focused on tomorrow's match against Madison County to decide the 1A state championship, at 12 central.
