PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) -

Panama City Police have identified the victim of a hit and run crash in Panama City Thursday morning. Authorities say 61-year-old Connie Tuck Py was killed crossing U.S. Highway 98 at 17th Street while pushing a bicycle.

Panama City police say a vehicle hit Py just before 6 a.m. and then left the scene.

Police are searching for the vehicle, which they believe is a white semi, hauling an aluminum flatbed trailer. They say that based on initial information gathered, the truck was last seen eastbound passing Beck Avenue.
