This week’s 850 Strong Student of the Week is ...

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) -This week’s 850 Strong Student of the Week is Rylee Lang.

She is a third-grade student at Patronis Elementary School in Panama City Beach. Her favorite subject is reading because of the opportunities it shows her without having to leave the classroom. She considers herself a good student because she gets good grades in all of her subjects.

When the pandemic happened, she was saddened because schools closed and she couldn’t get to see her friends from school. She prefers being in a classroom with her friends and a teacher that makes her work harder to make better grades.

“I like being in school because I get to play with my friends and I get to see everybody,” said Rylee.

She describes her teacher, Jamie Kelly as being very nice but strict when it comes to doing the work required for the day.
