This week’s 850 Strong Students of the Week are..

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) -This week’s 850 Strong Student Of The Week Award highlights two students from Bay High School. Oliver Brewton and Isaac Grabner are the lucky recipients for this week.

The two AICE students volunteered to help an elderly couple by putting up their Christmas decorations prior to the holidays. They put up lighting on the house along with several large-scale ornaments, making sure that they were tied down properly.

The finishing touch was putting up the lighting around the house. When the season was over they came back to take the decorations down and store them for next year. The boys are carrying out a tradition started by Isaac’s father.

“My dad used to do it, but he died a few years ago, so we’ve been doing it since then,” said Isaac Grabner.

“I guess it does make us feel a little bit better. I was surprised, yeah, I was very surprised, not expecting it,” added Oliver Brewton.

The couple was very happy that young people would take the time to help the elderly at Christmas.
