New president named at Ascension Sacred Heart Bay

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - A new president has been named to a local hospital.
Robin Godwin, who served as vice president of nursing at Ascension Sacred Heart Gulf in Port St. Joe, will now serve as president of Ascension Sacred Heart Bay, formerly known as Bay Medical, in Panama City.
Godwin has worked at Ascension Sacred Heart Gulf since December 2018. Before that, she worked as the director of nursing at Archbold Memorial Hospital in Thomasville, Georgia. and three years as director of nursing at Mitchell County Hospital in Camilla, Georgia. Godwin also has worked as a clinical coordinator and educator and started her career as an emergency department staff nurse and charge nurse.
Robin earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in nursing at Valdosta State University in Georgia.
