BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Bay County Sheriff’s Deputies said Marcus Creel, 34, of Southport, was arrested Tuesday. He’s facing new charges related to the possession of child pornography.

In late April 2021, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children reached out to the Bay County Sheriff’s Office to inform them videos of child porn were allegedly being stored on Creel’s Google Photos account.

Tuesday, deputies said they made contact with the suspect where they learned more information that led to Creel’s arrest. He’s facing 11 counts of possession of the sexual performance of a child, violation of probation, and one count of failure to register social media as a sexual offender.

Deputies also said back in 2015, Creel was convicted for traveling to meet a minor for sex.
