PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) -

Non-profit organizations have taken a hit because of the pandemic. People just aren’t donating like they used to.

So to help get more revenue flowing in the Panama City Pregnancy Resource Center is hosting a Golf-4-Life event Saturday, June 12 at the Panama Country Club.

The center provides free services such as pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, and a clothes closet for the little ones.

To help pay for those services the center depends on donations and fundraising.

The center’s executive director Pati Adams says the money raised from the golf tournament is vital to keeping the doors open.

“We are really down in our funding and so this is a way to bring our funds up for the pregnancy center having the Golf-4-Life,” said Adams. “We’re excited that we’re able to have it. We were gonna have it in April but another storm came through and we had to postpone that so I told my nurses that I don’t care if it snows, rains, sleets whatever we are gonna have it.”

Even if you don’t play golf you can still drop by and donate.
