Ascension Sacred Heart Bay announces new president
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - One local hospital now has a new leader.
Robin Godwin is the new president of Ascension Sacred Heart Bay.
Previously, she was at Ascension Sacred Heart Gulf in Port St. Joe.
She spent three years as their vice president of nursing.
Godwin said they will be working to expand the services they provide at the hospital.
Including cancer care and a women’s diagnostic center.
“Particularly related to women’s care, the expansion of 3D mammography services that have not been available due to the hurricane, and then adding additional things like pelvic floor therapy for women, enhancing our bone scanning programs, and an environment that’s very welcoming to women and very private, it’ll be a really good thing,” Godwin said.
Godwin earned her bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in nursing at Valdosta State University in Georgia.
