Jackson County Sheriff’s Office seizes three pounds of meth, warrant six arrests

JACKSON COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - The Jackson County Drug Task Force conducted an undercover operation into the sales of Meth within the Jackson County community. This investigation was called Operation Silver Dollar.

Investigators were able to gather evidence, which led to identifying Douglas Pelham as being a major Meth supplier in the Jackson, Washington, and Holmes county area. While executing a search warrant in Holmes County Tuesday, the Drug Task Force located three pounds of Meth, a street value of $30,000. Pelham was present during the search warrant and taken into custody as a result.

This seizure is part of a lengthy investigation that led to arrest warrants being issued for Jillian Pennewell, Sarah Sizemore, Marcel Deleon, Christopher Benefield, and William Adams. The investigation is ongoing and more arrests are expected. Adams is still at large.
