PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - After receiving complaints from nearby residents, Panama City Police served multiple search warrants that led to nine arrests.

Multiple departments of the Panama City Police Department gathered to distribute search warrants on multiple lots at the northeast corner of N. Bonita Avenue and E. 8th Court on Tuesday.

Altogether, nearly 30 officers within the department arrived at the large area, where it had been described as a place several people tend to gather. An investigation was also underway on the area by PCPD’s Street Crimes Unit for the alleged distribution of drugs.

With search warrants in hand, officers arrested nine individuals on 22 various charges and one active warrant out of Bay County.

Those arrested were:

Michael Worlds, Sr., was arrested for selling cocaine, keeping and maintaining a nuisance structure/property, illegal sale of alcoholic beverages, and violation of probation.

Charles Bellamy was arrested for possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and violation of probation.

Cassandra Dunston and Leonard Jenkins were arrested for possession of marijuana (less than 20 grams) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Cedric West was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana (less than 20 grams), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Donald Alford, Jr., was arrested for possession of cocaine, possession of ammunition by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana (less than 20 grams), and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Chevon Carroll was arrested for possession of cocaine and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Monica Moore was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tracy Porter was arrested for an active warrant out of Bay County.

The investigation is ongoing. Additional charges could be added.
