One injured in overnight crash on Highway 231
YOUNGSTOWN, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) -
One person was injured in an overnight crash in Bay County.
The incident took place sometime around 1:30 a.m. on Highway 231 at the intersection of Highway 20 in Youngstown. The Florida Highway Patrol says a car was heading east on Highway 20 when the driver failed to stop at a steady red signal. This led to a collision with a semi-truck heading south on Highway 231.
The driver of the car, a 24-year-old Fountain man, was taken to a hospital with serious injuries.
