Local apartments damaged in Panama City Beach after fire erupts

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Several apartments were damaged at a complex in Panama City Beach Tuesday afternoon after a fire erupted.

Multiple agencies responded to 10X Living at Panama City Beach around 3:30 p.m. after receiving a call about a possible structure fire.

According to emergency officials, two units on the third floor sustained fire damage to the attic and roof. Newschannel 7 has also learned four additional units received some water damage.

First responders said more than 30 fire personnel from three departments were on scene within minutes of receiving the call. We’re told crews had the blaze under control within an hour.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation. No injuries have been reported.
