Man found dead in downtown Panama City, foul play not suspected
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Panama City Police are investigating the death of a local man after he was found dead in the downtown area of the city over the weekend.
Police officials said detectives discovered the body of Donald Eugene Barnhart, 55, near E. 6th Street and Massalina Drive on Sunday, June 27. Officers said they did not discover any initial signs of foul play; however, the medical examiner was called in to conduct an investigation.
Officials tell Newschannel 7 that investigation also determined there were no signs of foul play or criminal activity involved in Barnhart’s death.
