PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) -After two years with Rams, Rutherford head baseball coach Jamie bukowski, has resigned. During his time with the program, the Rams went 10-17. Last year, with the season cancelled so early, they were only able to get five games in.

Coach madethe announcement on Twitter Saturday afternoon, saying in part “You’ll learn as you grow older that life brings us all different roads that we have to travel. Leaving you guys and the Rutherford family was a terribly hard decision that I consulted with family and prayed on for the last few weeks. In the end, it’s in mine and my family’s best interest to move on.” He then quote tweeted that on his person twitter saying “The program.... will always hold a special place in my heart I have made many friendships and memories that I will cherish for as long as I live.”

Rutherford A.D., Kirk Harrell, also said he appreciates all the work Coach Bukowwski put in at Rutherford and wishes him the best of luck in the future.
