PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Happy Tuesday everyone!
Today was another steamy day across Northwest Florida! Temperatures topped out in the low to mid 90s this afternoon, but feels like temperatures were in the triple digits! Tonight’s temperatures will remain warm too. Overnight temperatures will drop to the mid to upper 70s, however with the high humidity, temperatures will feel more like the 80s and 90s for the Panhandle. Tomorrow’s temperatures will be a couple degrees cooler than today because of better rain coverage for tomorrow, but they’ll still be very hot. High temperatures will sit in the upper 80s to low 90s. Heat indices will once again climb into the 100s. Make sure to stay hydrated and wear comfy clothes!
Tonight, we’ll see spotty storms in the area, but most of us will just be seeing cloudy skies. Better storm coverage is expected for tomorrow. The coastline will have better chances for some drizzles tomorrow too. We’ll see scattered showers and thunderstorms through much of the day, especially during the afternoon. Keep the umbrella near by!
