PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Panama City Police have identifed the man who was found dead Wednesday morning near the Garden Club.

Police say a city employee found Logan Persinger, 25, dead near the Garden Club and called the police.

Detectives and the Crime Scene Unit were called to the scene to collect any evidence. Police tell us at this time there are no obvious signs of foul play and the cause of death will be determined by an autopsy by the Medical Examiner.

Panama City Police received a call around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday that a city worker found the body of a deceased male.

Officials say the body of a 25-year-old male was found in the 800 block of Garden Club Drive.

At this time, police said there are no signs of foul play.

They say the body has been turned over to the medical examiner’s office for an autopsy to be conducted.

Officials tell Newschannel 7 the man’s identity will be released once next of kin is notified.
