BAY COUNTY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - The Bay County Sheriff’s Office received information on Tuesday that a document at the courthouse had a forged signature on it.

BCSO Criminal Investigators believe Kerrie Raffield, 46, filed a quit claim deed in which she allegedly forged her husband’s signature while he was behind bars in the Bay County jail.

According to deputies, she was trying to sell their home.

Raffield turned herself in to authorities on Tuesday. She’s been charged with forgery.
