PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - One local beach organization is looking to spread awareness in a fun, creative way.

Keep PCB Beautiful is sponsoring a coloring book contest

The organization looks to spread awareness over “Don’t Trash Where They Splash.”

Winners’ pictures will be featured in the coloring book.

Throughout the competition, the artworks will be displayed at the free concerts held at Aaron Bessant Park.

Supplies will also be provided to children during these concerts.

”Any child in Bay County can enter, it’s basically for grades, K-2, 3-5, 6-8, and 9-12. We’re asking you to draw pictures and submit them of why it’s important to not trash our streets and our beaches for our marine life,” JoAnn Weatherford, Keep PCB Beautiful President.

To enter the competition, your child can draw a picture and send it to Keep PCB at P.O. Box 9654 Panama City Beach, FL 32417, or visit the free concert series, held at Aaron Bessant Park, every Tuesday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.
