Another weekend of racing ahead for the North Florida Motorplex

FOUNTAIN, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) -This past Saturday night the Monster Energy Championship Bracket race wound up split between Doug Simmons of Dothan and Scott Crosby from Tallahassee. The rain did prevent them from getting in the final round, so those two teams splitting the 7 thousand dollar top class purse.
More racing is set for this weekend with the Royal Rumble sponsored by Ricco Sheffield Productions which features the very fast “Heads Up” and “run what you brung.” For the No Time Class, safety equipment and tires size are about the only rules. You can see some of the other race categories listed in the video above.
They expect teams from as far away as Miami , Houston, and Bristol Tennessee, and they expect Friday night racing to start at 6 p.m. and Saturday at 3p.m.
