PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - UPDATE 11 a.m. 4/28/22: None of the 21 students on board were injured. The van driver, a 38-year-old man from Fountain, was taken to a nearby hospital with critical injuries.
The inside lane of Southbound Highway 231 is now open.
Both southbound lanes of Highway 231 are closed after a crash involving a school bus and van.
Florida Highway Patrol troopers say a van crashed into the rear of the bus as the school bus driver was making a right turn at the intersection of Highway 231 and Hudson Road.
