(InvestigateTV) — Nearly half of the state of Oregon is covered with trees. However, there’s one forest unlike any other.

This forest is 3,000 feet above sea level and is found in one of the coldest lakes in the Cascade Mountains.

Anyone visiting this ancient sunken ground will need goggles and a drysuit to explore it.

Reporter Bonnie Silkman takes us to new depths, and it shows us how the underwater world inspires its visitors.
