Summertime Learning: Junior Lifeguards

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - To wrap up the 2025 Summertime Learning Segments, Panama City Beach Safety Officials got to kick it with the kiddos in real-time future lifeguard training!

From swimming tests, rescue practice, and much more, campers get the opportunity to experience the ins and outs of what it takes to be a lifeguard and grow their interest from there.

Beach Safety Lieutenant, Hannah Anderson, explains the rewarding feeling of providing that education early and how awesome it is to see a junior lifeguard go on to be a fully qualified lifeguard here in PCB!
