Water restored in downtown Panama City
PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - UPDATE: City officials state that water has been restored. There is no need for a boil water notice since pressure levels remained within regulated limits during repairs.
Panama City officials say there has been a water main break in the downtown area related to construction on the Martin Theatre.
City Crews are actively working to make repairs and water service is estimated to be restored around 4:00 p.m.
City officials say if a boil water notice is issued, they will send out an alert via text and email.
