HOW-TO TUESDAY: Creating textured art with Justin Gaffrey Jr

PANAMA CITY, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - When viewing art, many people feel the urge to touch a piece—a big “no” in the art world. But Gaffrey Art Materials in Walton County offers specialty paints with a natural 3D texture that hardens, letting viewers get a closer look.

It’s Tuesday, which means it’s time to learn a new skill or hobby. In this week’s How-To Tuesday, NewsChannel 7’s Mia Hernandez and Abby Hafezi sit down with Justin Gaffrey Jr., co-owner of Gaffrey Art Materials, to learn about the company’s unique products.

Gaffrey demonstrates how thick acrylic paint can be built up into eye-catching, jaw-dropping elements that add depth and dimension to larger works.

You can click here to visit Gaffrey Art Material’s website to buy any of the paints used in this How-To Tuesday segment.
