Precautionary boil water notice in PCB

PANAMA CITY BEACH, Fla. (WJHG/WECP) - Due to a leak on a water main earlier Tuesday in Panama City Beach, a precautionary boil water notice has been issued for the businesses and residents located at:

• 100 – 227 Fairway Blvd
• All of Birdie Lane
• 13200 & 13220 Panama City Beach Pkwy

Water service is expected to be restored by 4pm, city officials say.

City officials advise that all water used for drinking, cooking, making ice, brushing teeth, or washing dishes be boiled.

The PBWN will remain in effect until the water line is repaired and testing shows the water is safe to drink.
