Julia joined WJHG/WECP in March 2020.
Prior to joining NewsChannel 7, Julia was a news and sports reporter at WVUA in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, during her undergraduate years at the University of Alabama. She graduated from Alabama in December of 2019 with a degree in News Media and a concentration in sports.
In addition to covering the universities athletics, Julia also covered sports all throughout the Tuscaloosa community from high school football to the senior Olympics. She also spent three fall semesters traveling around the Southeastern Conference with the SEC on CBS working with Jamie Erdahl, Gary Danielson, and Brad Nessler to broadcast SEC Game of the Week each weekend.
Originally from El Dorado, Arkansas, Julia is excited to no longer be landlocked and ready to delve into the world of sports that Panama City Beach has to offer.
