11-year-old dead after apparent drowning in condo pool

A child is dead after an apparent drowning in Panama City Friday afternoon.

Police say they responded to a call at the Landmark Condominiums on West Beach Drive where they found an 11-year-old next to the pool. They say they attempted life-saving measures and then EMS arrived and took him to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.
