We received a statement from the Naval Support Activity Panama City, the Navy Station in Panama City Beach, on the shooting in Pensacola.

"First and foremost, It was [a] horrific incident that has occurred at NAS Pensacola. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of those killed and injured this morning.

"Naval Support Activity Panama City has increased its security posture and there may be delays at the gate. Everyone is asked to adjust their schedules accordingly. As a matter of policy we do not discuss specific active security measures."

According to the Associated Press, the U.S. Navy is reporting that a second victim is dead in addition to the shooter at Naval Air Station Pensacola in Florida.

According to the Associated Press, at least 11 people have been taken to hospitals after a shooting at Naval Air Station Pensacola.

The Escambia County Sheriff's Office confirmed the active shooter suspect is dead.

The Escambia County Sheriff's Office is currently on scene. There's no word on injuries at this time.
