Angela Carmichael wins the Golden Apple

Despite schools being closed for the remainder of the school year, we still want to celebrate our local teachers. Congratulations to this week's Golden Apple winner, Angela Carmichael.

Carmichael is a fourth grade science and writing teacher at Breakfast Point Academy. She's been with Bay District Schools for 11 years. She has a passion for science and math and loves helping her students discover the importance of science and technology.

"Science is really attention grabbing, so we do a lot of experiments, a lot of investigations, a lot of hands on learning, so when they come in usually they are excited," Carmichael said.
