With social distancing at the forefront of just about everyone's mind, the idea of sitting in a waiting room for a doctor is a growing cause of concern. One local pediatrician is looking to change that.
Baldwin Pediatrics has converted its front lawn and parking lot into a new waiting room and treatment area. Doctor Rubina Azam says UV light is a natural disinfectant, and moving the practice outdoors allows people to better practice social distancing.
The practice plans to continue working outside when they can as long as the COVID-19 outbreak continues.
